As most of you know I got into the Nursing Program at the University of Minnesota!! I am very very excited and finally figured out all the drama that was going along with it. When I applied for the program I still had to take one class. It is called Human growth and development: birth to death. Yeah, try finding that class at a random place at the end of April when all online classes have filled up. I did find a class at the University of Pheonix and it costed me about an arm, leg, eye, and kidney to take. The problem was, I had to get this class approved by someone (im still not sure who) and I went through the Nursing Program director, Robin to get this sorted out. Well almost 2 weeks later she finally got back to me telling me she wasnt thrilled that this is the only place I can take it, but said it would work as a pre-req but may not transfer as credit. Fine with me, if I have to retake it sometime in these next three years I am perfectly fine with doing so. I get to start this fall and dont have to wait another year (THANK GOODNESS). I will also be living at home this year to try to save some money as well as the fact that I have no where else to live... So most of my family and family friends will be seeing me a lot more :) yay for you. Just kidding. This also means that I will have to be taking frequent trips up to Duluth to see my friends and of course Ryan. I think this next year is going to be a good year and I am thrilled that I am finally getting my life together! I will be writing more on Sunday afternoon so look for another update then with some good stories!!
Love, Nikki
